Whitewashing the Saudi connection to 9/11

New York Post und The Independent (UK):
The FBI has been accused of covered up alleged ‚Saudi Arabian links‘ to the 9/11 attacks. US newspaper the New York Post reports that the crime agency investigated claims that a prominent Saudi Arabian family had abruptly left the country weeks before 9/11. Details of the investigation were kept from the Congressional committee that looked at the attacks, the newspaper says.

    Ja, die Bin-Laden Familie wurde ausgeflogen in der Woche wo der zivile Flugverkehr komplett gestoppt wurde. Ich musste damals von San Francisco nach Los Angeles per Mietwagen nach Hause reisen, da ich beruflich in SF war.

    Ich erinnere mich aber das dieser Umstand schon damals also kurz nach 9/11 in der Presse thematisiert wurde. Dann kamen die Milzbrand Briefe an den Kongress (u.a. Tom Dashle) und das Thema ging unter.

    Jajaja die Saudis und die Bush Familie. Selbst die ZEIT widmete mal einen Artikel über die Saudi-Bush-Beziehung.
