Nachdenklicher Kommentar zu den Kriegszielen Israels in der Jerusalem Post<\/a> von Yonah Jeremy Bob:<\/p>\n

„The ballistic missile threat remains, but existed since the 1990s, and Iran may now think much harder against firing on Israel than it did in April 2024 and October 2024. And it is unlikely that Israel, without the US, could destroy the whole ballistic missile program.<\/p>\n

Given that truth, notice Israeli officials all along have said a goal was „substantially harming Iran’s ballistic missiles“ and not „absolute victory“ as they said with Hamas – what more is there to achieve?<\/p>\n

Israel could kill Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and some more leaders, but it is not clear that the Jewish state can bring about regime change in a country of 90 million people where the regime has many millions of supporters.<\/p>\n

Maybe the US could, but Trump has made it clear he is not in the battle for that.“<\/p>\n
