Die Sprache von Rollenspielern ist \u00e4hnlich verschwurbelt. – das hei\u00dft: unverst\u00e4ndlich f\u00fcr Nicht-Eingeweihte -, wie die von Juristen oder Werbefuzzys. Ich habe mich entschieden, meine Sim<\/a> Tancred’s Landing<\/a> im Gor<\/a>-Segment von Secondlife aufzugeben und stattdessen nach Ianda<\/a> \u00fcberzusiedeln. Gebaut<\/a> hatte ich Ianda ohnehin.<\/p>\n

Alles klar? Nein? Auch nicht, wenn ich das folgende Zitat aus der Trash-Fantasy-Literatur anbringe? „I had gone from Lara to White Water, using the barge canal, to circumvent the rapids, and fron there to Tancred’s Landing. I had later voyaged down river to Iskander, Forestport, and Ar’s Station.“ (Rogue of Gor<\/a>) Klingelt es noch nicht? Dann dieses? „I suspected, from the use of the hands and beads, had been trained in Ianda, a merchant island north of Anango.“ (Explorer of Gor<\/a>) F\u00e4llt nat\u00fcrlich in die Rubrik „unn\u00fctzes Wissen“, also dorthin, woe Quizfragen im deutschen Fernsehen eh schon vor sich hinmodern.<\/p>\n

Ein Rollenspieler, zumal in einer 3D-Welt, kann daraus eine nette „Storyline“ machen – etwas diese:
\nThe harbo(u)r of Tancred’s Landing, the famous library of the „Voice of Gor“ and the warehouse and headquarters of the House of Yuroki Company had been hit by a big flood. [Bilder oben] The Vosk river destroyed the lower walls and some trade goods. No citizens were harmed. The bookshelves and the printing press are safe. Rarius Yuroki decided to move to ianda on the Island of Landa. The HoY fleet of five ships left the Vosk area just in time and is heading for the southern Thassa. The company is expected to arrive at the docks of Ianda very soon.<\/i><\/p>\n

Das ist mittlerweile geschehen. (Gar nicht so einfach, ein Hochwasser in Secondlife zu simulieren.) Mein Avatar hat das Hauptquartier der HoY Bank schon eingerichtet – direkt in der Shopping Mall von Ianda, wie das „Foto“ unten unzweideutig beweist.<\/p>\n
